CHC43215 Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs
This qualification is an entry level program in community services intended for people who want to work in the alcohol and other drug sector. As part of the qualification you will be gaining knowledge about services and interventions for clients having Alcohol and Drug dependency. In doing so you will be able to assess individual clients, develop and review alcohol and drug related plans to best meet these needs.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. However, it is expected that students will have appropriate language, literacy and numeracy skills to complete the training and assessment requirements. All students must be willing to participate in mandatory workplace practice of a minimum of 120 hours. Students will seek their own work placements and clear guidance will be provided.

You can apply for RPL if you have the knowledge and skills gained through work, formal study, volunteering, informal or formal training, social activities or general life experiences. If you feel that you may qualify for RPL, please contact our offfice for further information about the process to demonstrate your experience and knowledge.

Students are responsible for the purchase of text book/srelevant to this qualification.
Alana Kaye does not accept any more than $1,400 up front payment prior to commencement of the course. This includes the $400 non-refundable enrolment fee. Students can pay the remainder in instalments during course progression.

Certification will be provided upon successful completion.
This qualification comprises 17 units of competency (subjects). Units of competency can either be:
- 12 core units - units you must complete as part of the qualification and
- 5 elective units - Alana Kaye have chosen the elective units that we know are more beneficial and relevant to the majority of our students.
