Application Process

Entry Requirements

To apply for a course of study at Alana Kaye College, you must meet the following entry requirements:

You must be over 18 years or older at the time of application.

Evidence of acceptable English language test course as below:


Minimum test score

International English International English Language Testing System (IELTS)


Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) internet based test


Cambridge English: Advanced (Certificate in Advanced English)


Pearson Test of English Academic


Occupational English Test taken no more than two years before the student visa application is made

Pass (A or B)

Application Form and Supporting Documents

All students are required to complete an international student application form. All sections of the form must be completed. You will also need to provide certified true copies of the following documents in support of your application:

  1. English language text score – as above
  2. Passport – a copy of your photo ID page
  3. Transcripts – all education transcripts and certificates
  4. Copy of Police Check – (If required). If you are applying for a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, this is a requirement before you come to Australia.

All documents must be certified or notarized copies of the original.

If you are applying from within Australia you will also need to provide copies of the following documents:

  1. VISA – a copy of your Australian visa grant letter
  2. OSHC – Proof of insurance, such as a copy of your insurance card or receipt of payment

Admission Process

Once your application has been processed by our admission team, you will receive notice of the outcome. If you are accepted into the course, you will receive a Letter of Offer (LO) and an initial invoice. The Letter of Offer will note any conditions of enrolment that need to be met prior to commencing your course of study. When you have accepted your letter of offer, paid your initial invoice and arranged your OSH coverage you will receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). With your Confirmation of Enrolment you can proceed to apply for your Australian Student Visa. Once your Australian student visa has been granted, you can arrange travel to Australia to commence your course of study.
