Early Childhood Education and Care Qualifications

Early Childhood Education and Care prepares students for employment with children aged 0 to 5 years. During the qualification, students undertake work placement, so they may gain experience in the industry, whilst acquiring the knowledge and skills required to work at this level.

A career in early childhood education is extremely rewarding.  A Child Care worker / Assistant Educator assists in the social, emotional, physical and educational developmental needs of infants and young children in child care centres, family day care, long day care, kindergartens and educational centres.  They manage children's behaviour and guide their social development appropriately and assist in preparing materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities.

Alana Kaye College provides two qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care to international students.
