Early Childhood Education and Care prepares students for employment with children aged 0 to 5 years. During the qualification, students undertake work placement, so they may gain experience in the industry, whilst acquiring the knowledge and skills required to work at this level.
A career in early childhood education is extremely rewarding. A Child Care worker / Assistant Educator assists in the social, emotional, physical and educational developmental needs of infants and young children in child care centres, family day care, long day care, kindergartens and educational centres. They manage children's behaviour and guide their social development appropriately and assist in preparing materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities.
Alana Kaye College provides two qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care to international students:

- CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Aged Care and Community Services
Alana Kaye College provides the following Community Services qualifications to international students:
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support
- CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services
Leadership and Management
Alana Kaye College provides two qualifications in Leadership and Management to international students:
- BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management
- BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarships
Up to three vocational education and training scholarships are available for students studying at Alana Kaye College in 2019. The scholarships are provided by the Northern Territory Government and Alana Kaye College to talented students from all over the world to study in Australia’s Northern Territory.
The scholarships recognise student’s academic merit, leadership and community engagement. Each scholarship is valued at $7,500 towards the student’s first year of tuition fees.
Scholarship applications are encouraged from new international students commencing the following courses:
CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support
CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services
BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management
BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
To apply students are required to complete the scholarship application form and attach it to your course application form. Scholarship application forms are available from the Northern Territory Government’s StudyNT website.

Scholarship winners will be recognised by the Northern Territory government and have the opportunity to network with government, business and community representatives in the Northern Territory during their studies.
